Line Art!

Hey, all!

So I'm wondering if anyone can give me tips on line art.
I have a tooooon of sketches and fan art that I want to turn into line are to fill in on photoshop, but I keep getting really BLAHHH results, so I'm not uploading them, and I REALLY want to get them up with functional line art ready to be colored.

Any tips that you could lend me would be greatly appreciated!
